How We Started

New Tech Robotics was established in 2020 with two teams, One Byte (team 20039) and Work In Progress (team 20040), to help bring together students interested in robotics and marketing so they can grow and apply their skills. In 2023, we established a third team, Error Message (team 24092), to provide greater experience and access to the FTC program to our school.

Our Mentors

Mentors are the members of the team that help us with the club, teach us skills, and help grow the team both in expertise and in size.

Meet the Officers

The New Tech Robotics officers are in charge of managing the entire organization, helping train and prepare new members, and connecting our organization to the Coppell community.

Our Impact

As part of our devotion to give opportunities to people of all ages, from elementary to high school, the opportunities to grow their love and passion of the STEM field: we volunteer every year to teach the students of Wilson Elementary how to code and mentor freshmen and sophomores the skills of coding, marketing, and engineering.

Our Teams

Listed below are the three FTC teams of New Tech  and together they strive to boost opportunities and inclusion in the fields of STEM.

One Byte, also known as team 20039,  is perhaps the leading team of New Tech with having won the inspire reward in the 2021/22 season and making it past qualification in the 2022/23 season.

Work in Progress, also known as team 20040, would be the secondary team of New Tech. Though never making it past a qualifier in the three years of it's existence, they have come close the last three years.

Error Message, also known as team 24092, is the newest team in New Tech Robotics and in their first season they missed out on passing qualifiers, but finished 18th out of 32 teams.
